Hey there, I’m Danielle — a proud disabled U.S. veteran and pitbull mom of three: Ruby, Dozer, and Daffodil.
Ruby and Dozer are my anchors — my service dogs, my partners, and my daily dose of calm. Daffodil, on the other hand, is my adorable chaos coordinator in training — bringing laughter where it’s needed most.
Together, we’re proof that rescue pups and their humans can heal each other’s hearts… one clumsy cuddle and slobbery kiss at a time.
Together we are on a mission to support pitties, empower veterans, and bring awareness to “Stop the 22”
Through this space, I share stories, products, and purpose — blending my life as a dog mom, creator, and veteran into one community of compassion.
Whether you’re here to shop, learn, or connect — welcome to the gang.
Why I Started Pitty Mom Hacks
I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, and dogs have always made every chapter a little brighter. But never in a million years did I think I’d become a mom to three pitty puppies at once. Talk about chaos and cuddles! 🐶🐶🐶
Before this wild pack joined my world, I mostly had senior dogs. So diving headfirst into puppyhood times three was a crash course in patience, laughter, and unconditional love. Suddenly, I was searching for everything — toys tough enough for tug-of-war, cleaning hacks for endless muddy paw prints, and gear that made walks (and even travel) easier for all of us.
What I didn’t know then was that my life was about to change even more. Around the same time I brought the puppies home, my health took a sharp turn. I didn’t realize how much I needed a service dog — or what that journey would even look like.
So there I was: raising three rambunctious puppies while learning to navigate my own new challenges. Somewhere between the chaos, the training, and the cuddles, I found something deeper — healing, purpose, and connection.
That’s how this story really began — not just as a dog-mom adventure, but as a journey of resilience, faith, and the incredible bond between humans and their dogs.
That’s when Pitty Mom Hacks was born — not just as a blog, but as a mission. A place where I share the lessons, products, and heartwarming stories that make life with dogs easier and more meaningful.
As a proud disabled U.S. veteran and pitbull mom, I’ve seen firsthand how rescued hearts can heal each other. Through Pitties & Patriots, I’m working to connect rescue dogs and veterans — because heroes deserve second chances, too.
Here, you’ll find honest product reviews, cozy stories, and dog mom life hacks — all inspired by Ruby, Dozer, and Daffodil, the gang that taught me that love, laughter, and a little dog hair make everything better. 🐾
Why We’re Committed to Stop the 22
Every day, an estimated 22 veterans lose their lives to suicide — brave men and women who survived war, but came home to battles they couldn’t see.
That number isn’t just a statistic — it’s friends, family, and heroes who deserved hope, healing, and connection.
At Pitty Mom Hacks, we believe healing can have four paws and a wagging tail. 🐾
Through Pitties & Patriots, we’re raising awareness and support for programs that connect rescue dogs with veterans, because sometimes the right dog doesn’t just change your life — they save it.
Together, we can honor those we’ve lost by helping others find their way home.
